Objectives

  • Describe the current status of men's health at both a local and national level
  • Cite two examples of how long-term damage resulting from a sports injury can be alleviated through education, prevention, and early diagnosis
  • Discuss the pros and cons of different approaches to the treatment of localized prostate cancer, including active surveillance
  • Define the link between erectile dysfunction and metabolic syndrome
  • Improve the evaluation and management of LUTS and its relationship to overactive bladder
  • Relate how testosterone is linked to mood and psychological functioning in men
  • Incorporate at least two strategies to increase the number of male patients in a practice and some methods to improve their compliance
