outlines a CME planning process that will enable learners to identify
practice gaps and educational needs, develop learning objectives, select
appropriate learning formats, integrate desirable physician attributes,
and measure change as a result of their CME activities.
Learners will be engaged in the activity through
lecture, case scenarios, interactive discussion and an audience
poll.
Objectives:
As a result of participating in this activity, learners will be able
to:
- Describe four essential steps in planning CME activities that meet
MMS accreditation requirements
- Provide three examples of professional practice gaps in your
setting
- List two educational needs determined from each practice gap
- Identify three options that meet accreditation requirements for
evaluating CME within your organization
