Norfolk District Medical Society Medical Student Scholarship Grant

Amount:  $5,000 annually, awarded for either the second or third year

Eligibility:  MMS member.  Any medical student who is a US citizen, a legal resident of Massachusetts for the last five years, a member of both the Norfolk District and Massachusetts Medical Society, and who has completed two years at one of the four Massachusetts medical schools.

Application Deadline:  March 26, 2012

On May 4, 2011 Norfolk District Medical Society held its Annual Meeting. The 2011 Community Clinician of the year, John J. Looney, M.D., President of Norfolk District was presented with the 2011 Community Clinician of the year award.

On Friday April 30, 2010 the Norfolk and Suffolk District Medical Societies hosted a joint Legislative Breakfast at Faulkner Hospital. Members of the Norfolk and Suffolk Delegation were invited to discuss important healthcare legislation.
