The Alliance has three areas of focus: health promotion, legislative awareness of health care issues, and supporting the family of medicine, from training years to retirement.
Soapy Handwashing Campaign
Members of the MMS Alliance are available on a limited basis to provide 20-minute presentations to kindergarten through third grade classes on proper handwashing techniques. The costumed character "Soapy"® greets the children at the end of each presentation, and children receive coloring books, stickers, and a brochure to bring home to their parents.
