MassHealth Primary Care Payment Reform Initiative

The Massachusetts Executive Offices of Health and Human Services has posted a Request for Applications for its Primary Care Payment Reform Initiative to solicit applications from Primary Care Clinicians who have a PCC Plan Provider agreement to participate in MassHealth's PCC Plan. The MassHealth MCOs are also key partners in this innovative initiative and will also be working with the selected providers in an aligned manner.

The goal of the PCPRI is to improve access to care, patient experience, quality of care, and efficiency through a new care delivery model emphasizing Patient Centered Medical Homes, the integration of Primary Care Services with Behavioral Health Services and a new payment mechanism.
