The purpose of this sheet is to provide physicians in the city of Beverly
with contact numbers to fulfill their reporting duties in a suspected emergency.
All reportable diseases are reportable first to the local board of
health, except tuberculosis, HIV infection, AIDS and sexually transmitted
diseases. The Massachusetts Medical Society recommends that you also notify
the state Department of Public Health in the event of a suspected emergency
(including suspected bioterrorism).
