Course Overview

The following CME activity was developed from the archives of the presentations recorded at the CMS National E-Prescribing Conference held on October 7, 2008 in Boston, MA. For a complete list of courses developed from this event, go to www.massmed.org/cme/CMS_eprescribing.

This session consists of four presentations which examine the components of privacy, security and systems management as it relates to the e-prescribing program. Each presentation seeks to educate providers and pharmacists on consumer security and privacy, and delves into relevant topics that are integral to adequate e-prescribing preparation, such as litigation and risk management.
