Medical Student Community Outreach

The principle of serving patients in need underscored the MMS Medical Student Section's two community service projects in 2000: bringing the four medical schools together to participate in a home renovation project coordinated by the Christmas in April Foundation, and creating and distributing a 30-second radio public service announcement to more than 50 stations across the state advertising MassHealth's Children's Medical Security Plan.
