Bullies and Victims: Can You Tell The Difference?
This archived CME webinar will help assist physicians on how to handle the challenges in caring for a bully or victim of bullying including how to distinguish victims and bullies from the patient population and determine what patients are at high risk for being bullied. Bullying is a particular concern for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender youth, and those who are questioning their sexual orientation and this webinar will specifically address the special health care needs of these patients.

Learning Objectives
- Identify and assist adolescents and young adults patients who are most at-risk for being bullied or victimized
- Describe psychosocial and physical consequences of bullying, such as self-harm, self-destructive behavior, suicide, and physical and psychological disability.
- Develop skills in working collaboratively with local schools and educators for the purpose of preventing and reducing the impact of bullying and abuse on students.
- Recognize the importance of bullying prevention and intervention, particularly with LGBT youth.
- Demonstrate competency and skills in addressing the vulnerabilities of LGBT youth to bullying, and the general health care needs of LGBT youth.
