Managing the Risks of Practicing Telemedicine
Technology and wireless communication are opening new channels of communication between the physician and patient. Across the nation, telemedicine is being used to bridge gaps in access to care in rural and other medically underserved communities. Primary care physicians and patients in these areas can link to specialists at large urban medical centers.The use of telemedicine is expected to grow significantly. This CME activity explores recent trends and developments in the clinical, regulatory and risk management aspects of telemedicine.
