Dr. Christopher Giuliano honored by the Bristol North District Medical Society for the 2023 Community Clinician of the Year Award
Dr. Christopher P. Giuliano, a pediatrician in Foxboro, has been honored by the Bristol North District Medical Society as its 2023 Community Clinician of the Year awardee. Dr. Giuliano is recognized by his peers for his exceptional care of his patients
and his community at large.
Giuliano began his practice at Pediatric Specialists of Foxboro and Wrentham, where he has been a partner and full-time physician since 2004, managing partner beginning in 2023. He also worked at UMass Memorial Healthcare, providing pediatric urgent
care in the emergency department, and covering the pediatric hospitalist service from 2003-2008. He has special interests in respiratory diseases and pediatric behavioral health. He has a staff appointment at Norwood Hospital.
He has continued to teach medical students from the University of Massachusetts, where he has been appointed assistant clinical professor in pediatrics, as well as nurse practitioner students from multiple institutions.
He is a longtime member of the Massachusetts Medical Society and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is school physician for the Plainville Public Schools and the Sage School in Foxboro.
Giuliano graduated from Vassar College and then attended the University of Massachusetts Medical School where he received his MD and one of two Class of 2000 Awards in Pediatrics. He completed his residency at the University of Massachusetts and served
as Chief Resident in 2003-2004.
In 2005, Giuliano became a member of the board of directors of Affiliated Pediatric Practices (APP). He has served as Medical Director and Vice President at APP since 2011 and has been the Associate Chief Medical Officer for Pediatrics at Mass General
Brigham Community Physicians (MGB CP) since 2016. He also co-chairs the MGB CP Pediatric Board and the APP Behavioral Health Committee.
The Community Clinician of the Year Award was established in 1998 by the Massachusetts Medical Society to recognize a physician from each of the Society’s 20 district medical societies who has made significant contributions to his or her patients
and the community. The Bristol North District has 150 physician members who live and work throughout Bristol County.
