Video: 2015 Interim Meeting - Annual Oration

Massachusetts Health Care Reform:  Will We Achieve High-Value Health Care? 
The 2015 Annual Oration focused on the impact of Massachusetts health care reform as it relates to costs, quality, and access to care.  Chapter 224 of the Acts of 2012, An Act Improving The Quality Of Health Care And Reducing Costs Through Increased Transparency, Efficiency And Innovation, has reached a three-year milestone.  Dr. Ashish Jha presented research on the progress of health care reform in the Commonwealth and its impact on those providing and receiving care, along with recommendations of immediate and long-term efforts to ensure that it leads to high value, patient-centered care.  

Dr. Jha is the K. T. Li Professor of Health Policy at the Harvard School of Public Health, the Director of the Harvard Global Health Institute, and a practicing Internal Medicine physician at the VA Boston Healthcare System.
