David A. Rosman, M.D. is re-elected Vice Speaker of the House of Delegates of the Massachusetts Medical Society

Waltham, Mass. - May 9 - Jamaica Plain resident David A. Rosman, M.D., M.B.A., has been re-elected Vice Speaker of the House of Delegates of the Massachusetts Medical Society at the organization’s annual meeting on May 9 at the Seaport Hotel in Boston. The House of Delegates is the legislative and policy-making body of the organization, the professional association that represents nearly 24,000 physicians, residents, and medical students throughout Massachusetts.  

Dr. Rosman is medical director of Mass General Imaging in Worcester, an assistant radiologist at Massachusetts General Hospital, and associate director of business development for Mass General Imaging.  He is also an instructor in radiology at Harvard Medical School.

A member of the Medical Society since 1998, Dr. Rosman, who is board-certified in radiology, has served the organization in a number of capacities. He is a longstanding member of its House of Delegates and has serves ex-officio as a member of the Board of Trustees, Vice Chair of the Medical Student Section, and a member of its Resident and Fellow Section and the committees on Finance and Ethics and Grievances.  Dr. Rosman is a member of the team representing the Medical Society in the American Medical Association’s House of Delegates.

Also active with other medical specialty organizations, Dr. Rosman serves as a chair within the American College of Radiology’s (ACR) Commission on Economics and Chair of the ACR’s Radiology Integrated Care Network. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Massachusetts Radiological Society.

Dr. Rosman earned his B.A. cum laude in economics and philosophy from Dartmouth College, his M.B.A. in health care, business and public policy from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and his M.D. from the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
