How to designate a person to make health care decisions for you in case you are unable
End-of-life issues are never easy to discuss or experience, but they reach every one of us at one time or another, whether as a patient, a loved one, or family member.
Advance Directives, such as Health Care Proxies and Living Wills, allow people to retain control over medical decisions. Massachusetts law allows people to make their own Health Care Proxies, but does not officially recognize Living Wills.
