The Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine will begin
conducting random audits of CME credits for physicians whose
license renewal date is after July 1, 2011. Massachusetts will join
a number of other states with similar CME audit programs.
All physicians should maintain records of participation in
Category 1 CME activities, and be able to document the means by
which they accumulated Category 2 credits.
Physicians who are selected for the CME audit will be notified
by email and regular US Mail after their license has been
renewed.
