About the Award:
This Physician Health Distinguished Service Award was established in 2015 to recognize professionals who have made a significant contribution to the cause of improving the health, well-being, and effectiveness of physicians and medical students. This cause conforms to the mission of Physician Health Services, Inc., and recipients need not have a direct affiliation with PHS. Those who are making nominations may choose to remain confidential to the PHS director and director of operations.
A subcommittee of 2-3 PHS Board members, with the PHS director and Director of Operations, will review nominations and present recommendations to the PHS Board of Directors for vote. The award will be recognized at a PHS event, on the PHS website, and, in future materials about PHS.
