Leading a Patient Safety Program
For physicians and managers responsible for their primary care practice, this session aims to highlight key concepts in patient safety and medical malpractice while providing a useful checklist to advance your practice's safety program. Led by Dr. Madeleine Biondolillo and Dr. Gordon Schiff, this module will guide you toward other useful modules within this patient safety series.

* Explain the relationship between patient safety and the risk of medical malpractice.
* Describe the characteristics of a patient safety program for primary care.
* Identify staff in your practice who would best manage a patient safety program.
