Biomedical Science Careers Program (BSCP) Hope Scholarships

  • Amount: Four to seven $7,500 scholarships annually
  • Eligibility: High school, community college, medical, and graduate students who are active in BSCP programs.
  • Please note: The MMS provides financial support to the BSCP, whose principal objectives are to identify, inform, support, and provide mentoring for academically outstanding students/fellows, particularly African-American, Hispanic American, and American Indian/Alaska Native individuals.

Boston Area Albert Schweitzer Fellowship Program

  • Amount: $3,000, divided into three payments throughout the fellowship year.
  • Eligibility/Requirements: Students from Boston and Worcester area graduate schools committed to community service and leadership development. Fellows provide at least 200 hours of service through an existing community agency that addresses the health-related needs of underserved communities.
  • Please note: The MMS and Alliance Charitable Foundation donates $25,000 annually to the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship Program to support students attending Massachusetts medical schools.
