The physicians of the Massachusetts Medical Society wish to thank Chairman Neal for his leadership toward identifying an
appropriate bipartisan solution to end surprise medical bills. Any proposal and subsequent action must ensure that patients not only never receive a surprise medical bill, but also that patients have unimpeded access to quality health care. We look forward
to continuing to work with the Chairman and the entire Massachusetts delegation on a deliberative process to achieve this goal.
