The adoption of ICD-10 represents both a regulatory mandate and
a call for transformation. With a compliance deadline of October 1, 2014, the transition to ICD-10 is
highly complex and can lead to significant changes in people,
processes, and technology.
This program provides an
overview of the requirements from experts in the field as well as
lessons learned from current ICD-10 conversion projects. The
following segments also highlight leading practices to enable
efficient and effective conversion and potential process
improvements through effective ICD-10 implementation.
We would like to extend a special thank you to the
generous sponsors who made videoing the ICD-10
program possible: Avior Computing, Blue Cross Blue Shield of
Massachusetts, Boston Medical Center HealthNet Plan, Massachusetts
General Physicians Organization, MindLeaf Technologies, Inc.
