Maryanne C. Bombaugh, MD, MSc, MBA 

Dr. Bombaugh is the MMS Vice President, and the Chair of the Massachusetts Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.   

Board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Bombaugh is an active leader in the medical society since 1993, serving on the Board of Trustees, the House of Delegates as well as numerous committees, sections and task forces, and the MA Delegation to the American Medical Association, 

Dr. Bombaugh served as Executive Medical Director of Population Health and Medical Director for Quality and Patient Safety at Reliant Medical Group, and was Associate Medical Director for Quality for Steward Health Care. She also serves on the boards of CeltiCare Health and Coverys.   

Dr. Bombaugh earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center, interned at Brooke Army Medical Center in Texas and completed residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.   

A veteran of the U. S. military, she served 12 years in the United States Army Medical Corps, and was the Division Chief of Gynecology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.      

Dr. Bombaugh earned her undergraduate degree from Smith College, a Master of Science degree from the School of Public Health at the University of Massachusetts, and her Master’s in Business Administration from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts.  

She has also earned numerous graduate certificates in the business of medicine and executive leadership from Johns Hopkins University, the American College of Physician Executives, Heller School of Management at Brandeis University, Wharton School of Business at University of Pennsylvania, the University of North Carolina, and the Harvard School of Public Health.  

Debra Cancro
Ms. Cancro is the CEO of VoiceVibes, Inc. which she founded in 2012 to help people be more effective oral communicators. Prior to founding VoiceVibes, Ms. Cancro was the founder and CEO of Autonomy Engine LLC, which developed autonomous control systems for satellites and unmanned air vehicles. She has 15 years of marketing and management experience at both startups and Fortune 500 companies. Her background includes product marketing management for the Bluetooth and HDMI product lines at the Broadcom Corporation (BRCM), and corporate communications marketing at multiple high-tech startups; Outsource Laboratories, which she helped to grow from $600,000 to $2.5 million; and Pivotal Technologies which was acquired for $242.5 Million. Before her career in marketing, Ms. Cancro was a Member of Technical Staff at AT&T Bell Labs. She holds a patent on a method for detecting condescending speech.

     
Diana L. Dill, EdD
Dr. Dill is a consulting and coaching psychologist, educator, and behavioral health provider. She is a graduate of Brown and Harvard Universities, and postdoctoral training in organizational psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy, and group psychotherapy. After 20 years in independent practice applying empirically based change principles to clients’ development goals and work problems, she founded Working Together For Health℠ in 2011 as a vehicle for helping individual clinicians and practices thrive in difficult times. Recent programming for clinicians has been in the areas of high-functioning teams, burnout prevention, improving engagement, and implementing coaching-style communication practice-wide. Patient-facing programming for clinicians has included patient-centered communication and stress management for primary care practices.

Dr. Dill has consulted to hospital-based practices throughout Massachusetts (Harvard Medical School, McLean Hospital, Westwood Lodge Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital, Milford Hospital, Cape Cod Hospital, and others) and with hundreds of privately-contracted clinicians. In addition, she has coached several leaders of international non-governmental organizations in the health space. She teaches for Physician Health Services, a nonprofit 501(c)3 subsidiary of the MMS and for the Institute for Lifestyle Medicine. She has served on the Research Committee of the National Consortium for Credentialing of Health and Wellness Coaches, and is a past board member of the New England Society for Applied Psychology. Dr. Dill also has a track record as a research psychologist consulting to health care, higher education, and governmental organizations. She has authored over thirty publications, and has spoken widely to national and local audiences. 

Deborah Hoadley, MD, MPH   

Dr. Hoadley, a committee member of the MMS Committee on Women in Medicine, is a board-certified Infectious Disease Physician trained at McGill University and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, where she completed her Internal Medicine training. After working overseas in global health for two years, she moved on to Tulane University, where she completed her Infectious Disease Fellowship, Preventive Medicine Residency, and Masters of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. 

She served for a decade on the faculty at Tulane, where she was active in HIV Clinical trials for women and was appointed to the CDC-NIH grant review committee for the Women’s Interagency HIV Study. 

She moved on to accept a position at Baystate Medical Center in Massachusetts, serving on the faculty of Tufts University for several years. During that time she became an active member of Baystate Health’s organization Women Advancing and Achieving in Medicine (WAAM), working with trainees and faculty to address concerns unique to women in the workplace. 

Dr. Hoadley now serves as the WAAM community liaison to women in private practice affiliated with Baystate. She is on the planning committee for a pilot program offering speaker development training for women at Baystate Health.

Alena Kreychman, MD 

Dr. Kreychman is a Supervising Physician, PET/CT Services, Baystate Medical Center Assistant Professor, University of Massachusetts Medical School – Baystate. She graduated from the University Of Connecticut School Of Medicine, specializing in nuclear radiology.

Dr. Kreychman serves as Administrative Officer for the Baystate Women's Organization WAAM: Women Advancing and Achieving in Medicine.

Catherine Lanteri, MD, FAPA  

Dr. Lanteri, a committee member of the MMS Committee on Women in Medicine, is a certified physician development coach who brings expertise in medicine, leadership, communications, and behavioral dynamics to help women in medicine strengthen their professional satisfaction and leadership effectiveness.

Dr. Lanteri is a board certified psychiatrist with 25 years of medical experience – on staff at major Harvard teaching hospitals, developing a community satellite clinic, and building a private practice – that brings a ground level understanding of the medical environment to her coaching. She combines this with her expertise in individual and group dynamics to help women define their vision and bring it to life.   Her coaching clients accomplish this through enhanced definition of their professional goals as well as strengthened skills in communication, conflict management, and team building.  Her expertise also encompasses work with abrasive physician leaders.  As an executive coach, Dr. Lanteri works with individual physician and hospitals across the country to strengthen professional effectiveness, group cohesion, and individual satisfaction.

Dr. Lanteri moved from Oklahoma to Massachusetts for residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Subsequently, she served on staff at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and as a Harvard Medical School instructor.  She currently is on the advisory board of the Physician Coaching Institute and is accredited by the Boss Whispering Institute.  Prior to medical school she was an award winning journalist and honed organizational skills in government and political leadership positions.

Angela Lussier

Angela Lussier is an award-winning speaker, three-time author, two-time TEDx presenter, and entrepreneur. After starting a career consulting business in 2009 with no marketing budget, Angela decided to offer free workshops to become known in her field. In her first year of business, she gave hundreds of presentations, published her first book, spoke at TEDx, and started to receive calls from corporations and conferences asking her how much she charged to speak. This launched her into a speaking career which has led to her work on stage. 

Today, Angela is the founder of the Speaking School for Women where she trains her students to become paid speakers who inspire audiences. She is also the CEO and founder of the Speaker Sisterhood, a network of public speaking clubs for women. Angela hosts Claim the Stage: a weekly public speaking podcast for women. She is a contributor to Huffington Post and her work has been featured on ABC, NBC, Forbes, and Entrepreneur. Angela resides in her giant art project, a Victorian home in Holyoke, Massachusetts. Her motto:  Stop waiting. Start creating.

Candace Lapidus Sloane, MD 

Dr. Sloane, Chair of the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine, has been honored by the MMS as the 2017 recipient of the Society’s Woman Physician Leadership Award, an honor recognizing outstanding leadership and contributions to patients and the medical profession by a woman physician. She will receive the honor at the MMS Women’s Leadership Forum in September.  

Following a 20-year tenure as a pediatric dermatologist culminating as dermatology Residency Director at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Dr. Sloane was appointed to the Board of Registration in Medicine in 2011, reappointed in 2014, and again by Governor Charles Baker in 2017. She has been annually elected chair five times by her peers on the Board.    

Dr. Sloane is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medical Science at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University and serves as an interviewer and application reviewer for its Admissions Committee. She is also a Fellow of the Federation of State Licensing Boards, an Overseer of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and a member of the Adjunct Medical Staff of Boston Children’s Hospital.  

A magna cum laude graduate of Tufts University, she received her M.D. from the Tufts University School of Medicine.
