Your Health First: Who We Are
The Massachusetts Medical Society is an association of over 18,000
physicians and medical students who share a common goal: to improve the
health of the people of Massachusetts. We educate the public about
important health issues, and we work with lawmakers to try to make
Massachusetts a healthier place to live.
The Massachusetts Medical Society also owns and operates The New
England Journal of Medicine, the world’s leading
medical journal, read by physicians and medical researchers across the
country and across the world.
