Provide medical information resources within
the health care system.
Formal CME is only one source of new knowledge
and skills in a lifetime of learning. The MMS recognizes the importance
of medical information resources such as health
science libraries and resources on the Internet as important
components for obtaining information. The MMS expects accredited
providers to offer access to medical resources and opportunities for
self-directed learning for physicians.
