Course Overview

The following CME activity was developed from the archives of the presentations recorded at the CMS National E-Prescribing Conference held on October 7, 2008 in Boston, MA. For a complete list of courses developed from this event, go to www.massmed.org/cme/CMS_eprescribing.

This session consists of three presentations based on the perspectives and personal experiences of pharmacists and pharmacy owners on E-prescribing. The speakers discuss industry standards, including E-prescribing standards that directly affect existing technology. After presenting the business case for adopting E-prescribing, speakers share best practices for workflow management.
