Course Overview

This session consists of three
presentations that explore the latest research highlighting the consumer
value of E-prescribing. It also examines the efficiency and economic
benefits of E-prescribing for both patient and practitioner. Speakers
address the obstacles and benefits that directly affect the consumer,
draw attention to anticipated consumer questions, and present
recommended adjustments to office processes and procedures to ease the
transition for both physician and patient. The session also covers
privacy and security protections that are critical to health information
technology.
