Generous contributions from members and friends of the Foundation are vital to sustaining our programs. Common giving opportunities include:

Donate Online
You can now donate online to the Massachusetts Medical Society & Alliance Charitable Foundation using NetworkforGood.org. This donation site offers quick, easy and secure transactions. We save bank and credit card fees by using this secure online donation service.

Please note that your credit card statement will read "Network for Good" but the donation still comes to the Foundation.

Contribution through United States Mail
Download a contribution form (.pdf, 16 kb), from the website and mail your gift today.

Electronic Transfer of Stock
Please advise your broker to electronically transfer stock via DTC as follows:

Please notify Jennifer Day at (781) 434-7044 of your pending transaction.
Please advise her of:

1. Number of shares being transferred
2. Name(s) of security(ies)
3. Your Broker’s name, brokerage firm, phone and fax numbers
4. Broker’s DTC#
5. Your mailing address for acknowledgment

Unless otherwise stipulated, all gifts of securities and mutual funds are sold, making them available for immediate use by the Foundation.  The charitable deduction is determined by the fair market value on the date of the transfer of the asset to the Foundation.

Memorials
Memorials are contributions made in memory of a friend or loved one.

Tributes
Tributes can be made to honor a special person or group. It is a wonderful way to make a charitable contribution in someone’s name for a special occasion, holiday, or in recognition of an accomplishment.

Direct an Honorarium
Honorariums for professional participation or speaking engagements may be directed to the Foundation. An easy, effortless way to make a charitable contribution.

Employer Match
Some organizations make a matching gifts program available to their employees. This is a simple way for you to increase your gift to the Foundation. Discuss this opportunity with your Human Resources representative.

Major Gifts
A gift of $1,000 or more elevates a donor to the Foundation’s major gift program called the Leadership Circle.

Planned Giving
Planned giving enables a donor to make a gift to the Foundation while obtaining additional tax benefits. Please remember to discuss this opportuntiy when speaking with your financial planner.

All gifts are recognized on the Foundation’s website and in publications of the Foundation and its affiliates, unless otherwise indicated or instructed by you.
