Clinical and/or Mentoring Volunteer Opportunity at Free Health Care Program

MMS senior members have served at Free Health Care Programs for over 20 years as volunteers in underserved communities and/or provide oversight and mentoring of medical students.
Volunteers who are age 60 and over, semi or fully retired with active medical licenses, can apply for MMS-sponsored professional liability insurance to provide
free health care services at the programs in the MMS Directory.
Annual Fall Forum for Free Health Care Programs
The Annual Fall Forum provides a valuable opportunity for collegial sharing of experiences, best practices and challenges at free health care programs.
The
fall forum is in October at the MMS Headquarters, Waltham.
We welcome:
- current volunteers and staff at free health care programs including physicians, nurses, program administrators and medical students, and
- those interested in the topic as well as potential volunteers
