The award, one of the most prestigious given by the Society to one of its members, will be presented to Dr. Cilento at the Society’s Annual Meeting May 5 at the Seaport Hotel in Boston.

In nominating him for the award, his colleagues noted Dr. Cilento’s nearly five decades of “outstanding dedication and service” to the Massachusetts Medical Society and the Norfolk South District Medical Society.
