Dr. Joseph Dulac is Middlesex North District Medical Society 2018 Community Clinician of the Year

Joseph DulacWALTHAM – Dr. Joseph Dulac has been selected as the Middlesex North District Medical Society’s 2018 Community Clinician of the Year, an award recognizing his professionalism and contributions as a physician.

Dulac is a physician and founder of Dracut Family Medicine and is affiliated with Lowell General Hospital, Boston Medical Center and Circle Health Urgent Care in Billerica, Lowell and Westford.

Dulac, a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross who received his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine, also is an emergency room physician at the East Boston Neighborhood Health Center. Last year, Dulac was a Rivier College nurse practitioner preceptor.

President-elect, current treasurer and former secretary of the Middlesex North District Medical Society, Dulac volunteers his time coaching youth flag football, basketball and baseball, and previously coached soccer. 

He serves on the Pinnacle Board and Physician Hospital Organization at Lowell General. 

The Community Clinician of the Year Award was established in 1998 by the Massachusetts Medical Society to recognize a physician from each of the organization’s 20 district societies who has made significant contributions to his or her patients and the community.  

The Massachusetts Medical Society (MMS) is the statewide professional association for physicians and medical students, supporting 25,000 members.
