Dr. Paula Jo Carbone is Middlesex Central District Medical Society 2018 Community Clinician of the Year

Paula Jo Carbone WALTHAM – Dr. Paula Jo Carbone of Sudbury has been selected as the Middlesex Central District Medical Society’s 2018 Community Clinician of the Year, an award recognizing her professionalism and contributions as a physician.

Dr. Carbone is an Internal Medicine physician and the Medical Director at Lahey Health Primary Care of Sudbury. She is also on the medical staff of Emerson Hospital.

She is a 1985 graduate of Wesleyan University, earned a medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in 1990 and in 2001 received an MBA in Health Care Management from Boston University.

Dr. Carbone has been a member of the Massachusetts Medical Society’s House of Delegates since 2014. 

The Community Clinician of the Year Award was established in 1998 by the Massachusetts Medical Society to recognize a physician from each of the organization’s 20 district societies who has made significant contributions to his or her patients and the community.  

The Massachusetts Medical Society (MMS) is the statewide professional association for physicians and medical students, supporting 25,000 members.
