The Department of Practice Solutions and Medical Economics oversees efforts in advocacy and education on a range of topics impacting physicians including physician wellness, physician compensation, administrative simplification, patient safety and quality
improvement.
The department works with health plans and state payers and advocates on behalf of physicians with regard to medical policy, reimbursement, audits, prior authorization and other claims issues.
