Under an agreement between the Boston Medical Library and University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School, MMS members enjoy expanded services, including the opportunity to:
Request articles from the Lamar Soutter Library or through interlibrary loan.
Borrow materials via mail and prepaid return mailer.
Consult virtually about research and library questions.
Visit the Lamar Soutter Library (55 N Lake Ave, Worcester, MA) in person.
The BML is the library of the Massachusetts Medical Society, and under the current agreement, MMS members will enjoy expanded services, including the opportunity to:
- Request articles from the Lamar Soutter collection or through interlibrary loan, without a fixed annual limit.
- To borrow physical books, please contact Leon Barzin at lbarzin@mms.org. To request articles and book chapters, fill out the request form at https://www.massmed.org/BML-request-form/.
- Consult virtually with a Lamar Soutter library staff member about research and library questions. Email lbarzin@mms.org.
- Visit the Lamar Soutter Library (55 N Lake Ave, Worcester, MA) in person. MMS members must first make an appointment and receive a confirmation by contacting Leon Barzin at lbarzin@mms.org with your appointment request.
