In partnership with the association education and consulting firm GoalMakers, the MMS will introduce a ten-week master management certificate program specifically designed for physicians and other health care professionals who wish to develop their business
knowledge and skills without the commitment or cost of a formal MBA.
The MMS Business Essentials for Health Care Professionals program will involve a blended format that will include six live sessions conducted virtually in combination with self-directed learning that participants complete at their own pace.
The program will provide participants with actionable knowledge and skills addressing business management basics, including strategic planning and goal setting, team management and coaching, and financial management and planning.
Scheduled to begin in September 2026, the Business Essentials program will offer the opportunity for individuals and teams to enroll, learn as part of a cohort of other health care professionals, and develop knowledge participants may readily apply to
the management of their practice, department, or organization.
