Elected annually at the MMS-MSS Annual Meeting, Governing Council members serve one-year terms representing medical students. The Section facilitates collaboration among the four medical schools and provides a forum for student participation in organized
medicine at both the local (MMS) and national (AMA) levels.
Participating in MMS Committees
Two students are appointed to each committee, a representative and an alternate representative, to serve one-year terms immediately following the MMS annual meeting in May.
