Products, Same Dangers
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health has launched a campaign aimed to combat vaping among teens. The campaign, developed with the input of middle and high school students across the state as well as student leaders from The 84 Movement,
links the dangers of vaping to cigarette smoking.

The 84 Movement
The 84 is a statewide movement of youth fighting tobacco in Massachusetts. The 84 represents the 84% of Massachusetts youth who did NOT smoke when the movement began. Now, 93.4% of youth do NOT smoke. Youth groups in a high school or community
organization who want to fight against the tobacco and vaping industries can sign up to become an 84 Chapter and be a part of the movement.

MMS is a founding member of this coalition which advocates for policy that advances tobacco prevention and cessation to reduce tobacco use, and decrease the public's exposure to secondhand smoke.
