Middlesex Central District Medical Society congratulates the winners of the 2023 Scholarship Award

Dr. Edwin Knights selected by Middlesex Central District Medical Society as 2023 Community Clinician of the Year
Dr. Edwin B. Knights has been selected as the Middlesex Central District Medical Society’s 2023 Community Clinician of the Year, in recognition of his professionalism and contributions as a physician.
Knights has been a physician at Emerson Hospital in Concord since 1978, where he started the hospital’s first hospice program. He was chief of medicine at Acton Medical Associates and is a long-time clinical instructor at UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester.
Knights chaired the Eliot Community Mental Health Center in Concord and was a member of the advisory board for the Acton Board of Public Health for many years and served as the school physician for the Middlesex School.
He is a graduate of Brown University and Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
